The mountain roads are narrow and prone to rockfalls, so be especially careful when it rains. Also, local beef is particularly cheap. After getting off the highway, we saw a restaurant on the roadside that slaughters cattle, fresh. We immediately ordered 1.2 kilograms of fresh beef for hot pot, which was delicious and only cost a little over 70 yuan to fill us up. We also bought fresh oxtail to take away, which we kept in the car fridge to take back to Guangdong for the children to eat. On the mountain, we met some car enthusiasts from Foshan. They bought beef at the market for only about ten yuan per half kilogram, which is a very high cost-performance ratio.
