🌷 Who’s Saying Keukenhof Is Overrated?! I Was Absolutely Blown Away! 😭

#springitinerary I’ve seen a lot of flower fields this year—two weeks of non-stop biking around the Netherlands, chasing every kind of bloom imaginable. From rustic countryside fields to endless tulip rows stretching to the horizon… But nothing compares to the beauty of Keukenhof. It’s on another level. Honestly, I felt like crying—it was that breathtaking 😭🌸 Yes, I know the crowds can be overwhelming (and trust me, they were—I mean GIANT waves of people 😵💫), but the sheer beauty of the flowers? Unmatched. The thoughtful garden design, the variety of rare and colorful tulip breeds, and the artistic landscaping all elevate the experience far beyond your average tulip field. Even with the crowds, every photo felt like a postcard come to life. 🚍 Getting There – A Smoother Route! Everyone always talks about leaving from Amsterdam Centraal (RAI), but I actually recommend a lesser-known route: ➡️ Take the direct Bus 858 from Schiphol Airport to Keukenhof. There’s usually less foot traffic, and it’s super convenient. 🎟 If tickets on the official website are sold out, you can often still grab a combined ticket (bus + park entry) through third-party sellers. These usually don’t enforce strict time slots, either. 🕗 Best Time to Visit ⏰ The earlier, the better! I arrived at the iconic windmill spot just after 8:00 AM, and it was already packed (see Photo 12 😵). The peak crowd hours are usually from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM—it gets really intense. 👉 If you're not a morning person, do a reverse visit: arrive after 4:00 PM and stay until closing. The light is still gorgeous, and the crowd thins out beautifully. #naturalwonders
