Moorish Quarter, the Little Asia in Lisbon

#newyearadventure Moorish Quarter (also known as Mouraria) is a neighbourhood that we frequented during our stay in Lisbon. To reach there, take the metro to Martin Moniz station. It is also near the terminal of the famous tram 28 of Lisbon. To me Moorish Quarter is like a little Asia in the heart of Lisbon. You can find a lot of Asian restaurants along the cobblestone alleyways. That's also the reason why we frequented this area. We had meals in the Chinese restaurants here a few times during our stay in Lisbon. Centro Commercial Mauraria is where you can find Asian, African, and Arabic shops all under one roof. This 5-storey shopping mall may seem rundown but it's the best place for you to find merchandises from Asia.
