Lisbon Landmark: Rossio Square

Rossio Square in Lisbon serves as the central point for major attractions. Local tour groups often gather here. This is the heart of Lisbon. In the past, it hosted carnivals and even bullfights. Now, it is a hub for tourists. There are numerous restaurants around the square. Next to the square is Rossio Train Station. In the middle lies Augusta Street, which separates Lisbon's two main districts. The square features black-and-white wave-patterned tiles and two Baroque-style fountains. From daytime to late night, the square is bustling with visitors.
