The Famous Colorful Hills of Zhangye

Zhangye in Western China’s Gansu Province is famous for its beautiful natural landscapes. None is perhaps more well-known than the famous colorful hills. These are located about 1 hour outside of Zhangye City and are simply gorgeous. I recommend traveling during off l-peak times such as we did in mid-May. There were very few visitors in the park and the weather was fine. We had a bit of clouds, which was unfortunate but the temperature was very comfortable.
