Linshui Laolong Cave

In the mountains of Linshui, Sichuan, there is a Chinese temple similar to Angkor Wat. People nearby call it Laolong Cave. Judging from the architectural style, it is at least 181 years old. There is an elephant carved on the right side of the gate, with a ruyi wrapped around its trunk. It means good luck and good fortune, and the carving is quite exquisite. According to the left-right symmetrical style of ancient China, there should be one on the left, but it has been destroyed. There is still a long way to go to protect cultural relics. Entering from the stone archway on the right is a natural karst cave. It is said that you can't reach the bottom even if you walk for several hours. Bats appear on the top of the cave all year round, and there is a dry Yinhe riverbed underground. If you are not a professional, it is not recommended to enter. It is worth mentioning that outside the cave is a clear stream flowing down the ravine from here, forming a group of waterfalls of different sizes along the way. If it is summer, it should be good to play water rafting here. If you are interested in this place, the navigation "Fan Family Ancestral Hall" is located in Linshui County, Guang'an, Sichuan, more than an hour's drive from the main city of Chongqing. Don't navigate directly to Laolong Cave. The place called Laolong Cave in Linshui is very dark.
