It's even better for kids than Sanya. Lingshui is not only a great place for long-term stays, but it also has a unique charm for family trips. This city is less crowded and quieter. Here, you can take your children to get up close and personal with manta rays, experience the fun of tide pooling, catch starfish with your own hands, and even ride a whimsical sea train 🚞. The seawater here is as clean as if it has been carefully filtered by nature, and the sand is as fine as flour. Walking barefoot on it feels amazing. Plus, Lingshui is right next to Sanya, so the temperature is similar, but the cost of traveling here is much lower than in Sanya. It offers incredible value and an unparalleled experience. ## 🚝 Transportation Guide Lingshui doesn't have an airport, so you can fly ✈ into Sanya or Haikou and then transfer to other transportation to get to Lingshui. - **Driving 🚗**: If you choose to drive from Sanya to Lingshui, it takes about 1.5 hours. You can enjoy the scenery along the way and experience Hainan's unique tropical landscape. - **High-Speed Train 🚅**: Taking the high-speed train is also a good option. It only takes 21 minutes from Sanya Station to Lingshui Station, which is very convenient. If you're departing from Haikou, it takes about 1.5 hours to reach Lingshui. ## 🗺️ 3 Days and 2 Nights Itinerary ### Day 1 Start by taking your kids to Daidai Island. You don't need to bring your own tools; the boatman will help you. If you don't want to charter a boat, you can take a water bus for 3 yuan. After getting off the boat, turn left to reach the free tide pooling area. Here, you and your children can catch starfish, collect shells, catch crabs, and maybe even see wild monkeys further in. ### Longtouling (Navigation: Agile Property Sales Department) After arriving at the seaside, keep walking to the right. There's a sea urchin farm behind you with a "Protect Sea Urchins" sign, so it's not recommended to collect sea urchins there.
