Holiday Inn Perfume Bay—A Resort with a Private Beach for Around CNY 400

If you're looking for a resort with great value, Holiday Inn Perfume Bay is the place to be! Check-in Experience: No pre-arrival calls were made. A doorman opened the car door and took our luggage. Check-in took about five minutes, and the kids received complimentary snacks! Room Experience—One-Bedroom Ocean View Suite with King Bed The room is a bit far from the main areas, but the view is excellent. The large balcony is perfect for drying clothes and enjoying the ocean view. The room is very new, but there's a slight odor. The smart home system works well, controlling lights and curtains (although there are a few too many spotlights). There's a small step in the living room, so be careful with children to prevent falls! The bath towels are much better than those at other Holiday Inns—they're large and soft. The refrigerator is empty! Hotel Public Areas: The swimming pool doesn't feel heated, but there's a water slide for kids. The landscaping is well-designed, and the beach is close by, but the waves are too strong for swimming! The indoor children's play area and kids' activities require advance booking. The play area isn't large and is divided into four sections: a ball pit, building blocks table, animal feeding area, and library. It's enough to keep kids entertained for an hour or two in the evening! The lobby bar area is quite windy and not very crowded, but it's a great spot for taking photos! The hotel also has a lawn and a chapel-like area. During our stay, a variety show was being filmed there (it seemed to be Sisters Who Make Waves). Dining Experience: Breakfast: The selection isn't extensive, and it remained largely the same over the three days we stayed. However, the ingredients were fresh. Overall, it was average. Dinner: We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant. The menu is very limited, and the dishes are quite light, not suitable for those who prefer strong flavors. However, the taste was good. Summary: This is a new hotel, so everything is fresh. The service meets the brand standards. It's suitable for those who enjoy a resort feel with a beach and don't have high expectations for food!
