Cattle Depot Artist Village: A Home for Art Organisations

Cattle Depot Artist Village is one of the old artistic hubs in Kowloon, and the only pre-war cattle slaughterhouse building that still exist. Constructed in 1908, the site was formerly a quarantine base and slaughterhouse before it was renovated and converted into a local art community in 2001. Nowadays, the village is home to some art organisations. The village is free to enter from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and become interesting spot for pre-wedding photo taken because of its artistic and classic red-brick architecture. The village located near by 13 street area, and it is less than one minute walk from China gas company bus stop in Ma Tau Kok Road Kowloon. #historic #old Architecture
