Oi!, Art space in the Classic Historic Building.

I am always fascinated whenever I see the red-bricked architecture of old building in Hong Kong. One of them is The Oil Art Space located in Hong Kong Island. The building was originally a clubhouse of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club back in 1908, and became staff quarters for the Government Supplies Department in 1930s following the reclamation land of the area. Later In 2013, the building was restored and revitalised under Art Promotion Office, and was renamed the Oil Street Art Space (Oi!) which open to public at the same time. Recently, Oi! expands the new space and storey buildings to incorporate an exhibition and multipurpose venue. The facility has large outdoor space where people can relax and enjoy fresh air after visiting arts exhibited indoor. Oi! is free admission, and located in Oil Street near by Fortress Hill MTR exit A. If you wanted to grab drink or food, there is Five Guys Burger Restaurant opposite the building or Starbucks coffee that can be reached by walk.
