What a Blue! The most breath taking view of Yulong Mountain is at Lanyue Lake! I never see any super blue rivers here in China but this is the best one! you can see the mountains reflection. I think the best time to take photo of the mountain and the river is around 7PM or 7AM when the sun is not high enough. also my tip is to bring your tripod to do long shutter shots to make it steady and to get the perfect mirror shot. #urbanexplorer #yuanshanping #lijiang #yunnan #china #explorewithtony #naturelover #adventure #life #photographersdayoff #leaveyourmark

Yulong Snow Mountain Ropeway

TAKE A DEEP BREATH! Yulong Mountain’s elevation is too high so we need to use bottled oxygen. One step at a time to reach the top! deep breath in for 5 seconds then breath out to exercise the lungs and circulation. We climbed Yulong around 8AM the earlier the better less people and also it’s best to prepare breakfast and warm water for the hike! don’t bring too much to carry it will be a adventurous climb! enjoy! #urbanexplorer #yuanshanping #lijiang #yunnan #china #explorewithtony #naturelover #adventure #life #photographersdayoff #leaveyourmark

Yulong Snow Mountain

THE FREEZING MORNING Ohh boy! the freezing morning to capture this shot! it’s around 7AM in Lijiang and it’s freezing cold and windy with a 3degrees cold temperature! so I wait and wait till the sunshine hits the top of the mountain and then decided to capture this shot. yes it’s cold but it’s worth the wait! I love shooting nature and building but I more like this one. I even make this photo my desktop photo on my computer. kinda look like apples own wallpaper. so if you want to take photos like mine check the weather and time what time is the sunset then wake up early put more jackets on, find the perfect spot and take the shot! what’s your coldest shot? #urbanexplorer #yuanshanping #lijiang #yunnan #china #explorewithtony #naturelover #adventure #life #photographersdayoff #LeaveYourMark

FACING THE MOUNTAINS! For me I’d like to stay more in this area. why? I don’t know exactly but I feel like the mountains taking me like my soul is very near nature or the gods are talking peacefully. Foot of the mountains gives you stress free environment. like when you live in a city you don’t feel this kind of moment the quiet, the sound, the wind and everything. id like to come back to Yuanshanping next time. Will explore more beauties of China. What’s your most silent adventures? #urbanexplorer #yuanshanping #lijiang #yunnan #china #explorewithtony #naturelover #adventure #life #photographersdayoff #LeaveYourMark

Old Town of Lijiang

Spring is the perfect time to visit Lijiang, Yunnan: the weather is ideal, the hordes of summer tourists haven't yet arrived, and the fruit trees are blossoming. We spent a very enjoyable couple of days wandering the streets of the old town, tasting local food and sipping coffee made from beans grown in Yunnan. Lijiang is undoubtedly a tourist destination, but it's one well worth visiting. The old town is small enough to be covered on foot (indeed, most of it is closed to vehicle traffic), so get a guesthouse in or near the old town (we stayed just outside the north gate, where a small hill gives a great view of the area) and leave the traffic jams of metropolitan China behind. #leaveyourmark #urbanexplorer #lightthecity #lijiang #yunnan #china #historicallandmarks #oldtown #coffee #mountains #tourism #springblossoms
