North of Lijiang Is Shuhe Ancient Town , its cobble stones bright Yunnan colors and wooden architecture gives the streets a beautiful feel. You can find cafes , hotels , grocery stores and many food options inside the town. It comes to life in the afternoon , from Yunnan rose 🌹 cookies to woven scarfs are some of the local finds. If your staying near the town , you will visit allot as it has the Bivou restaurant inside the town. This organic western restaurant was one of our many stops to eat while staying in town.
