Great Hotels for Strolling Around Lijiang Old Town with Kids

I started frantically researching homestays a week before coming to Lijiang. I originally wanted to stay in the Old Town with my children, but many friends said that the roads in the Old Town were difficult to walk and it was not convenient to drag luggage around. So we chose the Yuanshi Ruidi Future Art Luxury Courtyard Resort Homestay (Lijiang Old Town District Jizhao Jinshan View Branch). The service was amazing. We arrived late, almost at 12:00 am, and the receptionist was waiting for us. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage with the kids, he helped us carry our luggage to the room. The receptionist was also very welcoming. She greeted us warmly when we entered and left the hotel, and also told us about fun places to go and recommended some tourist attractions. The hotel is also in a great location, very close to Lijiang Old Town. It's just around the starting price for a taxi 🚕. There is also Black Dragon Pool Park nearby where you can see Jizhao Jinshan 🎉. The facilities are also very good. There is a gym and a laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes. The first floor is a separate courtyard, and the kids loved the decorative ducks and frogs 🐸. Breakfast is on the roof, with coffee and small desserts. Every morning from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, there is a local specialty rice noodle breakfast, as well as some grains and yogurt. In the afternoon, there is afternoon tea ☕. Every night, the owner organizes a fireside tea party and a concert, which is a great way to relax and de-stress 😄. Drinking coffee on the roof, looking at the snow-capped mountains, and basking in the sun is super comfortable 😌. The kids also had a great time 🥳. I will definitely choose this place again next time I travel with my kids.
