I came to Lijiang just for this guesthouse—Shanlan Creekside.

Lijiang, I truly embarked on a journey to Lijiang all because of a guesthouse called 'Shanlan Creekside.' The guesthouse is located in a corner of the ancient town, with the alley in front of the door filled with the aroma of tea and the scent of old wood, every step echoing the traces of history. As the roar of the airplane engine gradually fades away, the hotel's free airport pickup service arrives as scheduled. The warm service makes you feel the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Lijiang the moment you step into this city, becoming an unforgettable warm memory in your journey. The overall appearance of the hotel, nestled in the embrace of this ancient town, seems to be embedded in the mountains and rivers of Lijiang. Walking in, the first thing that catches your eye is the exquisite courtyard, with paths paved with bluestone slabs, flanked by gently swaying willow trees, as if whispering. In the center of the courtyard, a pond of lotus flowers is in full bloom, with a few drops of water glistening among the lotus leaves. At night, the hotel's exterior, illuminated by lights, appears even more mysterious and serene. Every morning, awakened by the chirping of birds outside the window, you walk to the restaurant where a sumptuous local breakfast is already prepared. Outside the restaurant window is a beautiful creek, shrouded in mist, as if in a fairyland. People should live in places without ceilings, probably like this. During my days in Lijiang, I wandered through the narrow stone-paved streets, visiting every small shop and tea house. However, no matter where I went, my thoughts would always drift back to Shanlan Creekside. There lie my most beautiful memories of this trip, picturesque scenery, and heartwarming warmth. It was for this guesthouse that I came to Lijiang, and because of this guesthouse, I will return home with a heart full of happiness.
