Black and white snow-capped mountains and plateau water charm: Pullman Lijiang

It was already three o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived in Lijiang. Since we had originally planned to get up before dawn the next day to go to the snow-capped mountains, we did not book any hotel and planned to stay at a friend's house for one night. However, my friend felt that it would be a waste of time to stay in a remote place, so we arranged a stay at Pullman. But to be honest, I didn’t expect that this is the first generation of renovated flagship store. Although the guest rooms are old, the public areas have really become an important part of the accumulation of aesthetics. The black and white ink painting is bright and transparent, and it is truly beautiful to the heart. The hotel lobby is elevated and surrounded by giant floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing sunlight to penetrate to the maximum extent. The glass facade is very well maintained. When you first enter the lobby, you really can't tell that this is a hotel that opened in 2011. Although it was renovated in 2017, this sense of transparency really makes you think that I am here for my first stay at the hotel, which just opened today. The room is 42 square meters in size and is not compact. There is a charge for the tile cat printed canvas bags (the canvas bags in the InterContinental Lijiang Hefu rooms are given free of charge to guests). The room cannot see the snow mountain (we were not given an upgrade to a deluxe snow mountain view room) because the guest room opposite blocked the view. There is an atrium outside the balcony, but there are not many guests. Also, because it is winter, the atrium feels desolate and the occupancy rate is really too low. Standard Pullman bath products, not the first time the brand, the Shenzhen North Station Pullman I experienced before also uses the same bath brand. There was no night bed, but green bean soup was provided as a gift at 10 pm. Water appears many times in the hotel's setting, giving it a feeling of a plateau water village. So making the public area more flexible is the second reason why I like it. In addition, there is an artificial lake and tower behind the hotel's breakfast room, from which you can see snow-capped mountains in the distance. The hotel does not have a public swimming pool, only a gym. The overall service of the hotel is average. Even though the reservation was made through a third party and I was not the one who made the reservation, they still gave me the corresponding treatment for a silver card. It’s just that I don’t have a high-end card (if I had a high-end card, they would probably give me everything they could). In this respect, the hotel is quite generous. It’s just that “giving is a favor, not giving is a duty”, and you can’t feel bad because of this, it’s just that there is no surprise. The public area is beautiful. It is actually more convenient to go to Baisha and Shuhe than Pullman, which can be reached on foot. Check-out at 4am was also very quick.
