Lijiang Ancient City 1. Where to stay - There are so many goregous hotels, just be sure to book inside the ancient city. We stayed at the Floral Hotel Yujia: No.87 Wenzhi Lane, Wuyi Street, Lijiang, 674100, Yunnan, China. It's in a really good location, close to one of the gates to the ancient city and the hotel owners are very thoughtful and will meet you outside, help you with you bags and lead you through the maze of alleys to the hotel. The hotel is very authentic, cosy and clean. It has 2 levels and a beautiful garden inside. Rating- 3 1/2 ⭐ 2.What to do- Literally go and get lost! We thought Dali's ancient town was a maze, but this is next level! We couldn't stop taking pictures, it's so beautiful 😍. Hot tip: drop pin your hotel's location before you start exploring 😂. 3.Best restaurant 🤤- Yun Xue Li Adress: 云雪丽餐厅(木府店) I know this is a big call, but I think this is some of the best food I've had in China. Rating- 5 ⭐ 4. Coffee ☕- Yun Hotel. After hours of sight-seeing we were in desperate need of a coffee break. We stumbled upon this gem at the perfect time. It has a peaceful courtyard and lots of cosy nooks to relax and unwind. They have a fancy tea and coffee list and we can confirm their cakes are delicious! Rating - 4 ⭐ 4. Lijiang at night 🌃 Highlights - It is well worth seeing the city at night. Lijiang has some of the best street food and an abundance of fresh juice and fruit. Grab it straight off the street and eat it on the go! There are so many bars and just about all of them have live music, just take your pick! Rating- 5 ⭐ Lijiang has to be one of my favourite places in China. Its temperate climate makes it a perfect place to enjoy the warm weather and escape the scorching heat and humidity experienced else where during the summer months.
