Three consecutive days at Xiaoqikong: a treasure trove of photo spots and routes

Here’s a treasure trove of photo and sightseeing routes from three consecutive days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday👇 💡 Route: East Gate → Big Seven Holes → Natural Bridge → Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge → 68-step Waterfall → Cuigu Waterfall → Wolong Pool → Return to East Gate This time I tested a route perfect for in-depth exploration, entering and exiting from the east. First, hike through Big Seven Holes and Natural Bridge. Highly recommend hiking this section! Few people and beautiful scenery, it feels like a private tour. Although there are some gentle slopes, it perfectly avoids the tour groups entering from the West Gate, so no waiting for photos. 🌉 Big Seven Holes hiking section: tranquil canyon and Natural Bridge After entering from the East Gate, walk along the plank road with steep canyons on both sides and emerald green river water below. It’s especially peaceful in the early morning with few people, and you can see mist rising over the river. After about a 20-minute walk, you’ll reach the Natural Bridge. There are two key photo spots at the Natural Bridge: 1. Location: viewing platform about 50 meters from the Natural Bridge. 2. Location: standing directly under the Natural Bridge, shooting upward through the bridge arch. 💧 Xiaoqikong highlights: a visual feast of waterfalls and ancient bridges After touring Big Seven Holes, you can take a sightseeing bus to Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, passing the 68-step Waterfall and Laya Waterfall along the way. These are sights that cameras can’t fully capture compared to the naked eye! After taking photos at the ancient bridge, continue by shuttle bus to Cuigu Waterfall, a filming location for "Adventure with Bear." The waterfall cascades down from lush mountains with a wide-open background. Finally, take the shuttle bus to Wolong Pool, where the water is as clear as emerald. It’s recommended to take portraits at the viewing platform on the bend, where the lake’s color is most beautiful in the afternoon with the light. Xiaoqikong photo spot: stand on the shallow riverbank beside the bridge to frame the ancient bridge and emerald river in your shot. Laya Waterfall photo spot: stand on the trail below the waterfall to let the splashing mist act as a natural filter. If you’re not in a hurry, Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is really great for leisurely exploration. The air is very fresh, and the paths are well maintained. Bring some snacks and spend a comfortable day exploring deeply. Libo County is actually a very slow-paced city. After a relaxed tour of Xiaoqikong, having a bowl of beef noodles outside the East Gate is incredibly satisfying~
