You would never have guessed that this old street hides the most beautiful secret of Lianyungang!

When I arrived in Lianyungang, I found it quite interesting. After getting off the bus, I followed the crowd to a flight of stairs. I thought, "How steep! I'm afraid I'll be exhausted." But as I walked, I suddenly felt that my view opened up. Although I was still walking up, it felt like I was walking on flat ground, and my view suddenly expanded. There were a few rows of simple seats next to me, which looked quite stylish and not old-fashioned. Sitting there for a rest felt quite comfortable. Lianyun Station was right next to me. The building with a Republic of China style was quite special. The sunset shone on the second floor, and the warm light gave it an old feeling. I took a few photos and thought about coming back after dark. I walked to the viewing platform, thinking I should be able to see the sea. Unexpectedly, the first time I saw the coastline of Lianyungang was on the old street! The sunset dyed the industrial area of the port in warm tones of red, blue, and orange, which looked quite beautiful. In the distance, Liandao was faintly visible, like a holiday resort. The houses nearby, with red roofs, matched the sunset perfectly, and they were really beautiful. I continued walking, and the viewing platforms came one after another. The stairs were also quite interestingly designed, with sections following the mountain's contour. When I reached a platform, I thought I had reached the top, but after turning a corner, there was another long flight of stairs. Seeing that, I was really a bit overwhelmed. As it got darker, we decided not to climb any further. It was enough. When we returned to the main street, the shop lights were on, and the warm yellow light spilled onto the street, making the whole street look cozy. The atmosphere of the old street was quite nice. It didn't feel like a modern commercial area, but rather relaxing. Walking on the street at night, time seemed to slow down, and it was really comfortable. Overall, Lianyungang gave me a very special feeling. Although it is a port city, the sea, old streets, and buildings here give a different sense of tranquility. Walking here, you can really slow down and enjoy this simple beauty.
