Zhangyi Xing Walled Village in Nancun, Lianping Town, Guangdong

Built during the Qing Dynasty, Zhangyi Xing Walled Village is a Hakka walled compound with three halls, two side buildings, and four corner towers, covering an area of about 1,500 square meters. It features five front entrances with a concave main gate, square pillars on both sides, and wooden door frames with carved stone bases. Inside, there's a wooden screen at the first entrance, a wooden plaque reading "Leshan Hall" hanging at the second entrance, and ancestral tablets enshrined at the third entrance. The interior beams and frames are adorned with exquisite wood carvings. The side buildings are mostly damaged, with only doors and windows carved with phoenixes and flowers remaining. The four corner towers are three stories high with wooden lattice windows and multiple gun ports. In front of the building is a grain-drying ground and a semicircular feng shui pond. It is a key cultural relic protection site in Lianping County.
