I came to Tibet specifically for this Wusang ceremony.

This hotel holds a煩桑 ceremony every Friday. I missed it last time due to my busy schedule, but this time I came all the way to participate in this sacred ceremony. The ceremony started on time at 9:30 in the morning. Tibetan employees dressed in their best clothes and prepared pine and cypress branches, barley and tsampa in advance. They gathered in front of the manor's 煩桑炉, washed their hands, put the pine and cypress branches into the 煩桑炉 with a pious heart, gently scattered barley into the air, and prayed with both hands for peace in the world. Recite scriptures silently, walk around the incense burner three times clockwise with pious respect, the smoke from the incense burner rises, tsampa is scattered into the air, turn the prayer wheel in front of it, incense burner is performed in the manor, and one finds peace in the hustle and bustle. One travels thousands of miles to find the voice of one's heart in the oxygen-deficient plateau. May the curling smoke carry our prayers straight to the sky. May the gods protect us, dispel all disasters, and grant us peace, health and happiness.
