The most sacred place in Tibet is Lhasa, and the most sacred place in Lhasa is Yeba. This temple standing on the edge of a cliff is lonely and mysterious. There are actually quite a few temples around Lhasa, but Zhayeba Temple is little known, and most of the people who come here to make pilgrimages are local Tibetans. Zhayeba Monastery is one of the four major hermitages in Tibet. It was built in the 7th century during the reign of Songtsen Gampo. It has a history of 1,500 years and is older than the Potala Palace. Finally, we walked into the Xueduibai Traditional Handicraft Art School in Tibet and watched the Tibetan students following their teachers to learn thangka painting, Tibetan scripture wood carving boards, clay sculpture pottery, and metal forging. This can be regarded as the protection and inheritance of Tibetan culture! As a tourist, I am also very interested in studying this intangible cultural heritage, which enables me to understand the profoundness of Tibetan culture at a deeper level. Xueduibai means "Auspicious Workshop under the Potala Palace". It was a manufacturing place for Buddhist statues and various religious supplies specially organized and established by the Tibetan local government in the Qing Dynasty to meet the special needs of political and religious affairs. It was a relaxing and rewarding in-depth tour. The tour guide, a local from Lhasa, answered all our questions along the way, and was attentive and enthusiastic, like an old friend. This is the kind of trip I still want!
