Secondhand smoke would always unexpectedly drift among the crowds, like a shadow that couldn’t be shaken off, causing annoyance. Until I went to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the moment the car door opened, the cold wind rudely pierced my lungs, giving a deep cleanse to the city’s noise and fatigue! 🌿 Looking out, surrounded by mountains on all sides, a small river flows through the village, stilted wooden houses stack up along the mountain slopes, the serene scenery refreshes the mind and spirit, here, even distracting thoughts become light and thin. Unconsciously, night quietly falls, the wooden house windows are coated with a gentle glow. Nearby stalls begin to emit cooking smoke one after another, voices, charcoal fires, and the aroma of meat all surge together! The originally quiet village instantly comes alive, I suddenly had the illusion of stepping into the world of Spirited Away. 🌿 The welcoming ceremony "High Mountain Flowing Water" opens the long table feast, Amei’s singing is loud and clear, while the lusheng flute passionately accompanies. Wine flows from a height into bowls, forming a waterfall of wine, such warm blessings bring a lively atmosphere I haven’t felt in a long time. During the feast, Jingjing walked over holding a cup, her eyes curved like a bright moon, smiling as she toasted us. Before I could respond, my nose tingled with emotion, life is often like this— the livelier the moment, the easier it is to be gently moved. In a brief encounter, to meet such good people; such a wonderful night makes one smile, yet can’t help but feel a little like crying. 🌿 Online, people often say Qianhu Miao Village is too commercialized, but I think that’s just right! The stone paths are clean, shops orderly, and the flow clear, people no longer fear the legends of "witchcraft" and "mystery." Silver jewelry shines with the light of history, batik reflects the blue of nature, ethnic culture is newly understood in such beauty. Thus, the village’s songs have listeners, and city people have a pure place to breathe. If not for this balance of tourism and daily life, I might never have known that deep in the mountains, there are people who live by singing and with heartfelt living. 🌿 After dinner, I looked at the lights on the mountainside opposite, like someone had scattered a handful of glittering gold into the night. I couldn’t help but think, "Such a beautiful place, how can it still hold someone like me who’s almost broken?"
