Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the most satisfying photo shoot I've ever had!

Introduction~ Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is not as bad as the internet says. I was hesitant to go before the trip, fearing I would be disappointed like many travel blogs said. In the end, we went, and it was worth the trip. I think it's a must-see for first-time visitors to Guizhou (maybe because my expectations were low, so I was pleasantly surprised🌈). 1. There are discounts on tickets for Zhejiang residents. You can buy tickets on-site or online. 2. There are welcome ceremonies and performances at the main gate at scheduled times every day. 3. You can experience the "high mountain flowing water" drinking ceremony🍶 at the main gate and inside the scenic area. It costs CNY 30 per time. My dad tried it, and it was pretty good. The alcohol seems to have a high alcohol content. 4. After entering the main gate, take the shuttle bus to the village. Get off near your accommodation. 5. Accommodation prices increase significantly during holidays. You don't have to book online. Many people solicit customers on-site. Almost every household here is an inn (even during holidays, some guesthouses are not fully booked and offer lower prices on the day of arrival. We also checked the rooms on-site before deciding where to stay). It is recommended to book accommodation closer to the main gate, as some areas require you to carry your luggage, which is inconvenient. 6. The night view is beautiful, and there is a lot to eat. It is commercialized, and the prices are slightly higher than in other parts of Guizhou, similar to those in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. 7. From day to night, there are people taking photos and live streaming, but it is worth taking photos in Miao costumes at night. We randomly chose a shop on the roadside and rented costumes for my child and me. It turned out to be the most satisfying photo shoot I've ever had in all the cities I've visited. The photos look great without any retouching! It's a pity I forgot the name of the shop😂
