Guizhou's hidden gem, Langde Upper Village

An important stop on the Kaili outskirts tour. The village of Langde Upper, nestled against the mountains and facing the water. The village is not large, so for those planning a visit, half a day's time is sufficient. Midway up the slope, there is a quaint little embroidery shop that is quite interesting. The owner is an embroidery enthusiast with a vast collection of vintage pieces. After striking up a conversation, she shared many of her treasured embroideries for us to admire. She also imparted a wealth of knowledge about the embroidery, making it a very fulfilling experience. We even bought some small embroidered earrings as souvenirs. For those who prefer to avoid places with a strong commercial vibe, this is a good spot to wander around.
