Leiden Citadel

#hiddengems A defensive structure constructed in 11th century called the Burcht van Leiden, also known as the Leiden Citadel. This is a 20 metre high citadel and it is an historical landmark in Leiden. Leiden Citadel is a public park. Visitors are allowed to enter and walk up to the top of the citadel. From the top of the citadel, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Leiden and its surrounding countryside. Visitors can walk around the citadel to see the different side of Leiden.
