Le Puy is famous for its lace breakdown. That's why there is a lace museum and a school in Le Puy that teaches how to make lace using traditional methods. When you come down to the old town, you can see many shops that display lace crafts. They say that they still make and sell lace using traditional methods in order to continue the tradition.
