Mont Saint-Michel, France

Mont Saint-Michel is a small island on the west coast of France, floating in the Bay of Saint-Malo, and the monastery that stands on it. It is about a three-hour train and bus ride from Paris, France. If you visit, I highly recommend staying the night on the island or nearby and seeing both the sunrise and sunset. I went there in October, and there were many tour groups, including many Japanese people, so I felt safe. There are souvenir shops and a famous omelette shop on the island. It takes about half a day to see everything, but spending time on the coast and on the island gazing at the sea will be a wonderful memory. #France #MontSaintMichel
