Laucala Island Resort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
COMO Laucala Island
My goodness - this place is the most magical on Earth!!
The resort, villas, and grounds are architecturally beautiful. Under the guidance of a great Australian chef, the food is excellent. The island's meat, seafood, and produce. An amazing
“Included” wine list.
However, the point to note is the genuine warmth of the service. If you can think of it, you can have it. And right now. You want a pig roast at your private beach villa.
- No problem - 10 staff members appear to make it happen. You want to be one of the 120 people a year to play on the golf course - No problem - a caddy and golf pro are ready. You want to visit some of the world's legendary diving spots - get on the boat and let's go.
Our children traveled with us - 6 and 17 years old. Both had an amazing time, including the young child with the provided amazing nanny.
I won't tell you the details about getting married there, because it doesn't seem like you're going to, (we were the 10th wedding in the resort's history). It's enough to say that about 20 staff members appeared at 9 AM to prepare for a 4 PM wedding. The day was smooth, grand, and truly beautiful. Exactly what we wanted. And without our effort.
The flowers alone were worth a visit to this world-class place.
I could go on, but realistically, you just have to go.
Sincere thanks to the management and staff. You are truly wonderful people who made our stay magical. We will return every anniversary. Vinaka!
The world's most expensive vacation island, COMO Laucala Island
This year's first island vacation was chosen at Laucala, one of the world's largest private resort islands
The price also ranks in the top ten of the world's most luxurious resort islands
The entire island has only 25 villas and can accommodate up to 80 guests. Private planes are used to arrive on the island. On the day of my stay, there were only 16 guests on the island with over 300 staff members providing 24-hour service. The butler arranges the dining times for each guest
So you hardly meet other people on the island, it's very private. Laucala has a 240-acre farm with everything you could want to eat, and the chef personally accompanied us to the farm for a tour, letting me choose the ingredients I wanted to eat
Cooked according to my preferred taste, a true farm to table experience
The wine list is also rich with many good vintages of Burgundy and Bordeaux wines. There are many entertainment activities such as diving, surfing, fishing, golf, tennis, horseback riding, and hiking
There is a professional spa center and therapy team, offering comprehensive personalized services
Every day here, I truly forgot the time and completely relaxed
Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the sound of birds is just wonderful

A Dream Journey to COMO Laucala Private Island in Fiji
COMO Laucala Island is located in the northeastern part of Fiji, just a 45-minute flight on the hotel's private plane. Designed by British design master Lynne Hunt, the resort perfectly blends nature, tradition, and modern architecture. In the details, you can fully appreciate her ultimate luxury and extravagance.
The resort's 25 spectacular luxury residences seem to be protected by the heavens, perched above the lagoon, nestled on mountaintops, hidden within dense rainforests, and clinging to the seaside. Not only do they offer luxurious accommodations, but also private swimming pools and attentive butlers on standby, providing a perfect stay experience. Beyond the resort lies an entire island, waiting for your exploration.
There is also an 18-hole championship golf course, a variety of water activities, a spectacular spa and wellness center, 24-hour concierge service, and a world-class luxury dining experience made with fresh ingredients from the farm.
Fiji COMO is one of the most expensive holiday islands in the world
Fiji COMO is one of the most expensive holiday islands in the world🏝️
The largest private island resort in the southern hemisphere, with over 300 staff serving only 25 villas. There are private planes available to the island at any time. It's a very private and luxurious experience, chosen by the wealthy. Bill Gates, Jack Ma, and Li Ka-shing all vacation on the same island. There are a variety of ecosystems, including tropical rainforests, volcanoes, blue lakes, mangroves, and coconut groves.
We went in August, the peak season has a minimum stay of 5 nights. At 56,000 per night, I personally don't think it's worth the price. I don't recommend it❗️The same cost can experience two top luxury islands in the Maldives.
COMO's rooms include a private beach of over 2000 square meters, but the interior of the room is not large and the facilities are not smart. The shower water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold, the bedding is damp, the restaurant's choices are not many, and the taste is very average. Most importantly, the water quality and beach are not as good as the Maldives☹️
The advantage is that the island is very large, there is a small car that can go around the island, not only water activities, golf⛳️tennis🎾can also experience farm hiking, biking and other jungle fun🌴
