Da Bei Chan Temple

Da Bei Chan Temple in Shengfang Ancient Town Da Bei Chan Temple is located in the north of Shengfang Ancient Town, also known as "North Temple". It was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and is a large and spectacular Buddhist architectural complex. The predecessor of Da Bei Temple has a history of more than 500 years. The temple was rebuilt and funded by local believers. Da Bei Temple covers an area of more than 100 acres. It is a rectangular courtyard with a north-south layout. The related buildings are stone archways, main gates, and giant Guanyin Bodhisattva. The Han Baiyu sculpture introduces the Buddha Hall, the Three World Buddha Hall, etc. along the central axis. The entire temple is well-built, with exquisite carvings and magnificent momentum. It is a rare Buddhist art building. Whenever a major Buddhist event is held, the chanting of the Buddha's name and the incense curling up is a place for the Shengfang to pity the people and rest in peace.
