Wooden library of Wat Pa Puey

Wooden Ho Trai, Wat Pa Puey, Lamphun Province An ancient Ho Trai used as a place to store Buddhist scriptures. The walls are in the shape of a raised rectangle. The lower pillars are made of brick and plastered with cement. The upper pillars and the walls of the building are all made of wood. Decorated with carved wood in the shape of a restored kuti pot, the front of the woman arched her eyebrows and the Jiu, which are carved in Lanna vine patterns. The roof is lacquered and gilded. The wooden corners are made of clay tiles. The gable and the raka and hang hong leaves are made of stucco, covered with gold and decorated with glass.
