Wat Sri Chum, Lampang

Wat Sri Chum, an old and famous temple in Lampang Province, is located on Thipphawan Road, Suan Dok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lampang Province. It is an old Burmese temple built entirely of wood from the Burmese forest. It is very beautiful. There is a golden Phra Borommathat in Burmese and Mon art. Inside, there are relics of the Lord Buddha brought from Burma, which have been highly revered by the people of Lampang for a long time. Inside the chapel, there are murals depicting the life of the Lord Buddha and a model of the temple plan. The roof of the chapel is made of wood with a beautifully carved pointed spire.
