Ban Pa Miang, Lampan

Ban Pa Miang, Lampang Province Ban Pa Miang is a cute little village nestled amidst the mountains, about 80 kilometers from Lampang city. They say the weather is cool all year round. (It's cool on the mountain, but it's not cold on the way there, lol.) The road up the mountain has a lot of curves. You'll need good braking skills on a geared motorcycle. (Automatic motorcycles are not recommended by the locals.) But once you get there, the fatigue is gone. The village has a stream running through the middle of it. The atmosphere is so chill, you wake up to the sound of flowing water instead of your alarm clock. The homestay's traditional khantoke breakfast and dinner are delicious and generous, featuring all five food groups. It's not just the destination, but along the way to Ban Pa Miang, there are some great stops, like Chae Son National Park. You can soak your feet at the waterfall, and stroll through the hot springs. They say they're hot enough to boil eggs. The eggs are truly special. Because the yolk hardens before the white. Strange, right?
