Buddha of Lampang

Wat Phra That Doi Phra Chan is a very beautiful temple in Lampang Province. It is located on the top of Doi Phra Chan, a quiet mountain in Pa Tan Subdistrict, Mae Tha District, Lampang Province. You can see the beautiful scenery and landscape of Mae Tha District. The temple has a new landmark, which is the "Daibutsu Buddha", a large statue standing out on the top of the mountain, similar to the Great Buddha of Kamakura, Japan.
