Not because the journey is difficult, but Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, all trap tourists. 🤔 This time, we were very determined to come. We drove straight to Trat Province without getting distracted from the route. 🥰😍 We stayed for 2 nights, which was just right (for our budget). 8 km from Trat city, we found a Chinese breakfast restaurant. A little further on is the Bridge of the Heart, the Kham Khlong Nam Chiew Bridge, which is 7.5 meters high. It had to be made this high because the villagers are fishermen so that boats can pass through. When we went, the rain had just stopped, so the villagers let us use the concrete bridge next door because they were afraid that it would be slippery. 😃 The surrounding area is a community of two religions, three cultures: Buddhism and Muslim. What you can see in the picture is the Al-Qumra Mosque. The covered waterfront promenade has food and local products for sale. Not far away, there is a mangrove forest trail 🌳, a bird watching tower, or you can take a boat to catch shellfish 🐚. The community is lovely and friendly. You won't be disappointed.
