Enkoji Temple is located just a short walk from Shisendo. It was one of the temples I was looking forward to, but it was even more wonderful than I expected, and an hour passed in the blink of an eye😳 There were many different things to see, and I really liked it! The contrast between the red carpet and the scarlet carpet is stunning, and Enkoji Temple and Ohara Hosen-in Temple are particularly eye-catching🤔 There are so many things to see, such as the Bonryutei Garden🐉, which uses gravel and stonework to express clouds and dragons, the Jyugyū Garden🍁, which is full of greenery and worth seeing in the autumn foliage, the vivid folding screen paintings, and the bamboo forest running alongside the green foliage, and the few visitors all took their time☺️ The Jizo statue at Enkoji Temple is also popular😉 There is only one smiling statue in one place, so try to find it when you visit!
