Looking at the color of Autumn 🍂🍁

I went to Kyoto with friends, and Kiyomizu-Dera was on our itinerary. Kiyomizu means clear water or pure water. It is located in eastern Kyoto, on the foothills of Mount Otowa at the site of the Otowa Waterfall and that's how it derives its name. Kiyomizu-Dera is a Buddhist temple, and the temple's present building was constructed in 1633. There is not a single nail used in the entire structure. The temple is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Since it's located on the foothill, we need a hike to reach the site. Wearing kimono, and walking up the hill was really something worth doing. When reaching the main hall we feel so blessed. From 13 meters above the hillside, we eyewitness the lovely rich color of the trees. It's colorful, some have turned to the color of autumn, yellow, orange, and red. #fallingforfall #temple #awesomepic
