The cherry blossom path near the Philosopher's Path is highly recommended! Take the bus from the Kamo River and get off at Kiyomizu-dera Temple. · Kiyomizu-dera Temple: A thousand-year-old temple and a cascade of cherry blossoms. · Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Slopes: The iconic cherry blossom tree has fallen this year. Last year's photos are now a limited edition. · Yasaka Shrine: Red torii gates interwoven with cherry blossoms. You can get an omamori (protective charm). · Gion Hanamikoji Street: Stroll in a kimono under century-old cherry blossom trees. · Kiyomizu-dera Temple—Gion Hanamikoji Street: This entire route is walkable. I rented a kimono here for photos. The combination of ancient architecture, kimonos, and cherry blossoms is incredibly photogenic. I spent three to four hours taking photos and strolling around.
