Matsuo in the first year of the Taiho era (701) during the Asuka period, making it a shrine with a very long history⛩️ There are many votive sake barrels on the south side of the shrine grounds, and they contain sake not only from Kyoto, but from all over the country🍶 When you walk around the grounds, you will often see turtle and carp motifs!
