Experience the ancient capital at Nishiyama Ryokan in Kyoto.

👋 I chose Nishiyama Ryokan in Kyoto for this trip🏯, located at 433 Gojomachi, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto. This ryokan is in a great location in the center of Kyoto, surrounded by many tourist attractions, such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Arashiyama, all within walking distance🚶‍♂️. The ryokan is also very close to the main train station in Kyoto, making it very convenient to get around🚃. 🌿 Nishiyama Ryokan is a typical Japanese-style inn, with a strong traditional Japanese cultural atmosphere from the exterior to the interior. As soon as you enter the garden, you can smell the fragrance of the plants in the garden and the tatami mats🍃. The front desk staff was very welcoming when we checked in, and the staff in kimonos were all smiles, giving us a detailed introduction to the location of the bathhouse and laundry room, and thoughtfully preparing warmers for us❄️. 🏡 Our room was very traditional, with tatami mats and futon beds, a small tea table, and some Japanese decorations, making it cozy and comfortable🎎. Although the bathroom was Western-style, it was a bit small and cramped. However, when you think about it as a truly traditional Japanese experience, you don't mind it too much😉. The room was well-equipped, with free laundry service, and you could even enjoy a cup of matcha in the tea room in the morning🍵. 🍜 If you like food, you won't be disappointed here. The Japanese breakfast offered by the ryokan was very rich, not only looking good but also tasting great, with several different Japanese dishes to try, all of which were very good🍙. We also participated in their tea ceremony, which was very interesting and gave us a better understanding of Japanese tea culture! In addition, there are many recommended restaurants nearby where you can enjoy delicious Kyoto cuisine🍣. 🌟 However, the ryokan does have some minor drawbacks, such as the price being a bit high, especially the bathroom being a bit small, which may be a bit inconvenient to use💳. Also, there is a curfew at night, so it may be a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the ryokan after midnight, which may be a bit inconvenient for night owls🌙. Overall, Nishiyama Ryokan is a highly recommended Japanese-style inn. Whether you want to experience traditional Japanese culture or are looking for a convenient and attentive accommodation option, this place will meet your needs🌸. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come to Kyoto!💕
