An enchanting moment at Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

#closetonature #100waysoftravel While visiting Kyoto we had a chance to visit the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, which is located near the Tenryuji area. This forest has had a very long history of being the zen area for many temples, and the there are tens of thousands of Bamboo shoots there, and you.might see from the picture. The aplenty tall Bamboo trees makes the place a very serene and quiet area to stroll, but please visit there as early as possible and during weekdays, as the crowd might go piling up during weekends and on later days. I was there at 8.30am, so definitely I do not have to get myself stucked with so many tourists, allowing me the enjoy this serendipity.
