They sell incense for religious purposes, as well as fragrant wood and incense paste used at tea ceremonies, and incense sticks and sachets for use in the tatami room. In 2018, Koushukan was opened next to Shoyeido as a base for disseminating information on Japanese fragrances. There is an experience corner where you can experience fragrances, and it seems that they hold events and exhibitions related to fragrances. Admission is free, so we recommend stopping by when you are shopping.
