The World of Reflections and Shadows in Arashiyama

About a ten-minute walk from Togetsukyo Bridge along the right bank of the Hozu River, there is a 150-year-old wooden building from the Meiji era called 'Yusai-tei' hidden among the trees🌲. Visitors can book a tour online, with tickets priced at 2,000 yen per person. Although Yusai-tei is not very large, its interior is exquisitely arranged. Through the round windows inside the house and various water mirror installations outside, visitors can enjoy the different reflections and shadows of Arashiyama's foliage throughout the four seasons. They can also sit quietly on the outdoor terrace and appreciate the natural scenery of the swaying trees🌿.
