Zen Serenity at Tenryu-ji Temple in Kyoto

Tenryu-ji Temple in Kyoto is a historic Zen temple. It is best known for the stunning landscaped garden. In autumn, you can see the beautiful spectrum of red, orange, yellow and green colours. Getting There - You can take a local train there and you can also visit this together with Arashiyama bamboo grove. Highlights - This is a UNESCO world heritage site with a beautifully landscaped garden, which is the key highlight. The Sogen pond is one of the centrepiece in the garden and the place looks like it came out from a painting. Another highlight is the breathtaking views of the surrounding Arashiyama mountains. Food & Restaurants - There are many local restaurants serving delicious traditional Japanese cuisine near Arashiyama and Togetsugyo bridge area. #fallcolors #awesomepic #autumn #100waysoftravel #travellerswonderland #japan #kyoto
