A Quick Visit to Nijo Castle in Kyoto: Enjoy the Garden for Just 800 Yen

I decided to visit Nijo Castle in Kyoto but didn't have much time, so I opted to just see the garden. When you arrive, you'll find a ticket booth. The vending machines sell tickets for both the garden and the castle interior for 1300 yen. If you only want to see the garden, go to the attendant and say 'Niwa dake onegaishimasu' to get an 800 yen garden-only ticket. Once inside, there's a map and a route to follow, making it easy to navigate. The garden is indeed beautiful. If you go early in the morning, there are hardly any people, as most visitors start with the castle interior, giving you the garden almost to yourself. As you walk, you'll come across a tea house, but if you go too early, it might be closed. Check the opening hours before you go.
