Recommended super affordable business hotel in Shijo, Kyoto, Japan: Hotel Mystays

For the last two nights in Kyoto, we moved back to Shijo Karasuma, which is full of shopping malls, and stayed at a very cheap chain business hotel #mystayshotel. The 6-square-meter superior king-size bed room can accommodate 2 people, and the price for 2 nights is $3,244 excluding breakfast, which is incredibly cheap. It is the price of one night at the Richmond and Mitsui Garden Hotels nearby! Although it is an old hotel, it is still spacious and comfortable to live in. There are not many facilities and no bottled water is provided, but it is good that the room has a bathtub. The main reason I chose Mystays is that it is cheap and conveniently located. The Karasuma Subway Line and Hankyu Railway are within a 10-minute walk, and there are Life and Fresco supermarkets next to it. There are an equal number of Eastern and Western guests staying here, and it seems that everyone is considering the price. Nearby attractions include: Nishiki Market, Daimaru Department Store, Kokino Karasuma, Taitung Crafts Museum, Takaracho, etc. This area is basically full of people and is more suitable for people who love shopping.
