Kifune Shrine is always crowded. In these times, Kyoto is pretty empty on weekday mornings, so I recommend it. I went for a walk in a yukata with a black cat pattern that matches the vermilion of the torii gates of Kifune Shrine. Kifune Shrine is a place where clear, clean air and a refreshing breeze pass through.
