Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei [Hotel Report]

My impressions after staying at the hotel ᝰ✍︎꙳⋆ The exterior is a renovated version of the former Matsuzakaya Kyoto Purchasing Store. The noren curtains match the atmosphere of the town, and it feels like a special villa. The hotel has a courtyard, so it's easy to feel the season and weather! In the morning, the morning sun comes in. There is also a large public bath, and when I stayed there, it was a weekday, so there were not many people and I had it all to myself! I think there are probably a lot of people around this time of year. The guest rooms are arranged around the courtyard, and one side of the hallway is made of glass. So the hallway didn't feel cramped at all! Most hotels don't have windows in the hallways, so they feel cramped. The guest rooms are designed to resemble a tea room. My favorite thing about this hotel is the tokonoma-like design. That was the first thing I saw when I opened the front door. The bathroom is a large unit bath with a stable red and white color scheme. When you think of Mitsui Garden in Kyoto, you think of red and white. It seems that the breakfast in the detached building at Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei is quite popular. However, due to lack of research, I ended up with a plan with no meals included this time.
