#freehotelstay The Royal Park Hotel is located in the center of Kurashiki and just less than 10 minutes walk from the Kurashiki Bikan Hostorical Center. The exterior of the hotel and the lobby very much followed the industrial design, with a lot of glass windows to bring ín natural lights. The lobby was cool and inviting - aside from the check in desk, there was also a bar by the entrance. Guests could get three free drinks ( although not a big glass) from the self service bar. Check in could be done via the front desk , or at the self service machine. There was also a pool table for guest use in the lobby. The rooms were new and clean, and cushions in the room used fabric that were made in Kurashiki. Bathroom was in decent size, and each room also had a free cosmetic pouch with beauty product samples for the guests. Breakfast had a good selection and was served on the top floor which commanded a panoramic view of the city. Parking was available but on a first come first serve basis, with a fee. I like bitter coffee, so this was my favorite coffee. They grind the beans and brew it after receiving the order, so it takes a while to serve, but it was the best coffee I had in Kurashiki. ○Gold Award Croquette, 200 yen Freshly fried, crispy! Fluffy! Soft! A delicious croquette without sauce. ○Denim Bun, 350 yen Denim Street, 450 yen Denim Street's specialty gourmet food! It was freshly steamed and piping hot.
