[Kuranda🇦🇺] Railway

The Kuranda Railway is a must-ride when touring Kuranda. It is a tourist train that connects Cairns and Kuranda Village, with a total length of about 34 km, and it takes about 2 hours to travel through the World Heritage rainforest! This historic railway, built in the late 19th century, is attractive for its retro carriages and magnificent scenery. The train stops at Barron Falls Station on the way, and you can see the impressive Barron Falls up close! When you arrive at Kuranda Station, enjoy a tour of the markets and cafes.
