Zhouzhuang Ancient Town is located in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, bordering Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. It is one of the top 10 water towns in Jiangnan. However, visiting Zhouzhuang in the cold winter has its own charm, with no signs of desolation, no crowds, and a vibrant atmosphere like spring. It is definitely worth a visit. Here is a simple guide to visiting Zhouzhuang in winter for your reference! 1. Tickets: The ticket price is CNY 100, with discounts for students, seniors, and minors. Tickets are valid for 3 days. After 9 pm, the scenic area does not charge for tickets, and you can enter and exit freely. 2. Highlights: The most worthwhile attractions in Zhouzhuang are the "Only Zhouzhuang" art performance, Zhouzhuang Double Bridge, Shen Wansan's Former Residence, and Nanhu Scenic Area. However, the Nanhu Scenic Area has been closed for renovation since 2016 and is currently not accessible. It is expected to be fully restored and open to the public in 2026. 3. Accommodation: Zhouzhuang has fewer visitors in winter, so accommodation is relatively cheap. Generally speaking, the cost of inns and homestays in Zhouzhuang Scenic Area is around CNY 160 during this season. Transportation: There are direct tourist buses from Kunshan Station and Kunshan South Station to Tongli Bus Station. From Suzhou North Station and Suzhou Station, you can take Metro Line 2 to Tongli Station and transfer to Bus 751 to Tongli Bus Station. Suzhou South Station is only 11 km from Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, but the station is newly built and the supporting facilities are not yet complete. In six months, you can take a taxi or bus directly from Suzhou South Station to Zhouzhuang. 6.
